Start or continue PrEP in China — we book the clinic, we do not sell the pills.
HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis is legal in China on a doctor’s prescription after you test HIV-negative. We arrange the visits, the labs, and the three-month calendar in English. Medication is always billed by the licensed clinic. We do not import, post, or grey-market generic PrEP.
If you just used PEP, say so — converting to PrEP is the usual next conversation, not a new scare.
What is actually approved
Oral PrEP with emtricitabine/tenofovir (FTC/TDF, sold in China as 舒发泰 / Truvada) is NMPA-approved for HIV prevention. Long-acting cabotegravir injections are approved and offered at some international hospitals. Twice-yearly lenacapavir has been introduced in the Hainan Boao Lecheng pilot zone — that is not a nationwide product we sell.
A doctor must confirm you are HIV-negative before PrEP starts. We cannot skip that, and we cannot prescribe.
Two tracks after intake
- Public / designated PEP-PrEP clinics — usually cheaper, more Chinese, passport registration. Shanghai has a published network of exposure-prevention clinics.
- International hospitals — English, calmer, more expensive consults and often branded drugs.
You choose. We do not default everyone to the most expensive ER.
Cities
Shanghai is the easiest (public, community, and international options). Beijing via infectious-disease hospitals and international clinics. Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Chengdu: we arrange a licensed clinic after intake; we will not name a partner we have not actually booked.
What we will not do
- Sell, courier, or “source” Thai/Indian generic PrEP
- Start anyone without an HIV-negative result
- Treat minors
- Put this link on our homepage or main menu
